Spamity Callamity

Now playing: Alice In Chains - Don't Follow

If you’ve been watching TV at all in the past week, you’ve no doubt seen the new AOL commercial where they are in a cafeteria talking about protection from viruses and spam.  It was kind of funny the first time, but now that I’ve seen it at least fifty times, it’s quite annoying.  I am amused when the one guy shouts out “Spamity calamity” while dumping slop on the other guy’s ham sandwich.  However, I’d still rather change the channel when that commercial comes on.

For your amusement, I’m posting a picture of myself when I had delusions of rock stardom.  I figured that since I was in a band at the time, I’d grow my hair out.  Somehow, it just didn’t seem to work for me.  I didn’t give it enough time to grow past the awkward stage.  This picture was taken just moments before it was cut back to the ‘normal’ length.  Kahn_long_hairI think the scariest part of this, is that this picture was taken only two years ago.

I was searching the web a while back and noticed that Jason Pettit put the old Vicinity site back up on his new website.  Here’s the link.  Ah, it brings back so many memories.  Spamity calllllllamity!

You should have kept the long hair.... the reason Vicinity died was due to no long hair in the band.... at least you tried. Still think Repede needed the fro or the 80s style long hair!!
