My back felt pretty good for most of the day today. It felt the worst right when I woke up, and again now that I'm winding down for the day. When I first hurt it, I thought I had pinched a nerve, but these syptoms seem like it's muscular. Having back problems as a result of shoveling snow is common, but I have to be different and have back problems from blowing snow. I don't get it.
Today Payton started repeating the sounds that we were making. We'd tell him to say "dada" and he would. He did the same with "nana," "mama," and "baba." He's understanding a lot of things when we talk to him, but he's not saying too much yet. It's still just "nana" for banana, and "dada" for me.

That's the way the talking thing goes. Eventually, the vocabulary starts to snowball and before you know it, he's saying things like "Mama, why don't you tell the truth?" and singing "Uptown Girl." Payton will be a year next month, right? So many people having babies, it's hard to remember the birthdays...
Yep, he'll be a year on April 4th. Time flies.
Get him to say Bigshow and I'll be impressed
